When Dinosaurs Roamed the Earth
An Eastern box turtle making a meal of a desiccated Fowler's toad. Likely a scavenged road kill. Box turtles are often thought of as herbivores but they are quite opportunistic. Happening across this turtle as it made a meal of a toad was a rare and lucky event.
